STAY at The Jungle – GUIDE

Welcome to The Jungle.

This is an outdoor adventure stay… calm, hands-on, and deliberately different from a hotel.

Things move a little slower here.
That’s part of the experience.

If you’ve just arrived, start with the hot tub section below.

All hot tubs at The Jungle are wood-fired, but the setup is slightly different depending on where you’re staying.

Please read the section below and download the guide that matches your accommodation before lighting the fire.

Wood-fired hot tubs with electric heater & bubbles

Key things to know:

• Light the fire as soon as you arrive
• Stop adding logs at around 32°C
• The electric heater will then take over
• Ideal temperature is around 37°C

Fully wood-fired hot tubs (no electric heater)

Key things to know:

• Light the fire as soon as you arrive
• Keep it fed little and often
• Ready in around 2.5–3 hours
• Ideal temperature is 37–40°C

Do these first:

• Light the hot tub fire
• Change into outdoor clothes
• Have a wander and get your bearings
• Prepare for your evening
• Bathroom is inside your unit

There’s no rush. You’ve arrived, now slow down.

Some evenings are lively and social.
Others are quieter and more relaxed.

Many guests:

• cook their own food
• use the BBQ and fire pit
• enjoy a simple, early night outdoors

Every cabin and pod has an outdoor BBQ.

If you need charcoal or a fire lighting kit, please visit reception
(available between 9am and 5:30pm).

Evenings here are intentionally low-key.

After dark, most guests:

• stay close to their cabin or pod
• enjoy the fire pit or hot tub
• let the kids enjoy the play park (weather permitting)
• settle in for the night

The surrounding woodland is best enjoyed during daylight hours.

This is a place to wind down, not roam.

You’re free to come and go as you please.

The Jungle is located between:

• Magherafelt (approx. 5–10 minutes drive)
• Cookstown (approx. 10 minutes drive)

Both towns offer:

• takeaways
• supermarkets
• pubs and restaurants

If you’d like to head out for food or supplies, driving is the safest and easiest option.
