Christmas, Hallowe'en, Easter, all summer long. We provide a range of fun and famous events across the year for families and thrill-seekers alike.

Run Rampage All Weekend 12th - 13th June 2021

PLEASE NOTE: As of 31st May 2021, unfortunately due to a number of reasons outside of our control, we have had to cancel this year’s Rampage.

We had great hopes of running a fantastic 2 day event as per usual, and after the year we’ve all had we felt it would have been the perfect chance to blow off some steam and enjoy a day in the great outdoors in the sunshine rampaging through our obstacle mud run.

We are incredibly disappointed, as we’re sure you are too, that we will now have to cancel our event. We hope you will understand that with the current climate of uncertainty surrounding large events, it is not a decision we have taken lightly, but to try and run our event within the current restrictions, is simply not feasible.

We hope that by next year, restrictions will have eased further and we will be able to run our Rampage event, in our usual fashion, with the evening entertainment and all the other facilities on offer that we normally provide.

For those who have already booked, you will have received an email to detail how to proceed. Please let us know at your earliest convenience how you’d like to proceed.

RAMPAGE 12th and 13th June 2021 – CANCELLED

Head off to the Jungle where you can run RAMPAGE across one of Ireland’s coolest obstacle adventure races.

12th and 13th June 2021 will see us host our fourth “Rampage Weekender” event. Gut busting and unique obstacles, lashings of mud, a fantastic and picturesque location, followed by a laid back and relaxed OUTDOORS after party and camping.

With so many running events out there why choose Rampage at the Jungle?

With lots of adventure style mud runs all across Ireland we are conscious that we need to offer something a little different to stand out from the crowd. We have therefore made our run more than a run and turned it into a weekend getaway that begins with an exhilarating and challenging 5k or 10k adventure run loaded with quality obstacles, followed by some hot food and live music so you can sit back, relax, rest your tired muscles and unwind with your fellow competitors and friends while enjoying the entertainment and best of all…. camping! Everybody loves camping! (Over 18’s only for camping)

Buoyed by the phenomenal success of our first ever Rampage Run in April 2017, we ran our second in 2018 and our third in 2019. Unfortunately, in 2020, the event we had planed had to be cancelled due to the ongoing restrictions that resulted from the COVID-19 health crisis. All those who booked for the 2020 event will automatically be rescheduled into 2021’s event at the same time slot. We will contact everyone by email who booked for 2020’s event and detail what needs done, if anything.

We now have a solid foundation and a top class adventure run event under our belt and having missed out last year, we will look to improve for our fourth Rampage Weekender event in June 2021. We will host the Adult Rampage Run on Saturday 12th June 2021. Many of previous years gut busting obstacles will see a return this year, including the infamous Giant Water Slide, the challenging Sleive Gallion, the refreshing Placid Ponds, the Insane-A-Frame and many other favourites. We will also add a few new surprises to this year’s obstacle line-up, with more than 60 obstacles planned for 2021!!

Our final word… is that if you can get through a year like 2020, Rampage 2021 will be no problem. We’ve all grown stronger from the adversity that unfolded in 2020. You may not feel it, but rest assured, no strength is gained without hardship and we all had that in spades last year. NOW is the time for getting back out there and improving our health in the best way possible, by getting out into nature and testing yourself against the elements.

We would encourage you to start small. Get some practice in before trying the obstacle run. Get outside, get moving, expose your muscles to a range of different movements. Don’t push too hard. Having been cooped away for the best part of a year, with no gyms open and movement restricted, we all need to be extra careful to ease ourselves back into fitness, in order to prevent injury. Our Rampage Run in 2021 will challenge you as always, however, we urge you to take your time around the course and only push yourself within a safe limit.

Adults Races

For the adult runners, sessions will start every 10 minutes after 10:00am.

Kids Races

Of course it wouldn’t be fair to leave the little ones out so on Sunday 13th June we will be holding two further races, 2k for 6-10yrs and 5k for 11-17yrs.

For runners, thrill seekers and anyone looking for a challenge… Rampage IS the ultimate experience.

We have implemented some significant changes to this year’s event, in order to facilitate a safe, exciting and challenging obstacle run for you all. We are happy to say that with these updated procedures, we fully adhere to the latest restrictions and health and safety measures advised by the Health & Safety Executive NI.

Just so you know what to expect on the day, the updates are as follows:

  • We ask that you come to Registration as normal (45 mins before your allocated race time), check your name off with our registration team and give a quick thumbs up to our camera to agree that you accept the risks involved in running the Rampage Run.
  • Reduced numbers in each time slot – from 100 to 50 people.
  • Within each time slot, we ask that each group runs in their own social bubble.
  • There will be no cage surrounding the warm up area, which has now been extended so social distancing can be applied.
  • We have removed some of the obstacles where there are high frequency touch points (Monkey Bars etc.) and strategically placed other obstacles very close to water obstacles.
  • There will be the usual mid-way stop off point for bananas and bottled water.
  • All participants will receive a medal and headband, wrapped in plastic, as well as your complimentary sausage bap after the run.
  • Bag drop will be available – £2 per bag. Our bag drop staff will have the appropriate PPE equipment (gloves, visors etc.)
  • Male and female changing areas will be available – these are large spaces, however we ask that all participants apply the appropriate 2M social distancing measures when using them.
  • There will be no showers for runners this year. Unfortunately, there’s no way to safely facilitate large numbers of runners using hot showers as we previously did, within the current restrictions. Our normal shower block will open at approximately 4pm for those staying on site.
  • Hand sanitising stations are available at various points through the Jungle.
  • Our cleaning team will be on site throughout the event, cleaning down high frequency touch points throughout the site and keeping toilets and indoor areas disinfected.
  • There will be no indoor music this year. It will take place outside in the campsite.
  • There will also be no licensed bar, so we encourage campers to bring their own alcohol and soft drinks for the evening.
  • At the moment, no spectators will be allowed to watch in accordance with NI Executive restrictions. (This will be reviewed closer to the time)

Rampage 2021 After Party

Rampage AfterParty 2021 insta image

Due to the current restrictions on indoor spaces, this year’s after party will be delivered outside in our Campsite.

We will have an outdoor stage area with a live band playing in the early evening. We want to encourage a festival type feel to this year’s event. Sure, it won’t be anything like Glastonbury, but a much more relaxed affair, sitting outside in the Campsite listening to the upbeat and energising tones of The Logues. (The live music will be subject to permission from the latest restrictions from the NI Executive – at the moment it is not permitted, however we are hopeful that it will be relaxed by June)

It will be BYO alcohol this year, with NO LICENSED BAR on site.

Hot food as always will be available.

Charity partners for 2021

We are pleased to announce that our chosen charity partner for RAMPAGE 2021 is AWARE, the leading depression charity for Northern Ireland. AWARE has established a network of 23 support groups in rural and urban areas across Northern Ireland, ran by trained and dedicated volunteers. They provide support and welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder, as well as providing support for carers of people with illness.

For every participant that takes on our Rampage Run in June 2021, we will donate a portion of their entry fee directly to AWARE. We hope to raise a sizeable donation for this incredible charity and provide extra funding to bolster the support they provide across the country. With the rising rates of mental health issues and suicides in Northern Ireland, along with the extremely challenged and difficult year that’s just passed, we feel it’s crucial to support causes like AWARE.
