Head off to the Jungle where you can run RAMPAGE across one of Ireland’s coolest obstacle adventure races.
The 7th and 8th May 2022 will see us host our fourth “Rampage Weekender” event. Gut busting and unique obstacles, lashings of mud, a fantastic and picturesque location, followed by a Bright N Tight themed After Party and Camping.
With so many running events out there why choose Rampage at the Jungle?
With lots of adventure style mud runs all across Ireland we are conscious that we need to offer something a little different to stand out from the crowd. We have therefore made our run more than a run and turned it into a weekend getaway that begins with an exhilarating and challenging 5k or 10k adventure run loaded with challenging obstacles, followed by some hot food and live music so you can sit back, relax, rest your tired muscles and unwind, or alternatively, get up and dance the night away with your fellow competitors and friends and best of all…. camping in the great outdoors! (Over 18’s only for camping)
Buoyed by the phenomenal success of our first ever Rampage Run in April 2017, we ran our second in 2018 and our third in 2019. Unfortunately, in 2020 and 2021, the event we had planed had to be cancelled due to the ongoing restrictions that resulted from the COVID-19 health crisis. All those who booked for the 2021 event will automatically be rescheduled into 2022’s event at the same time slot. We will contact everyone by email who booked for 2021’s event and detail what needs done, if anything.
We now have a solid foundation and a top class adventure run event under our belt and having missed out the last two years, we will look to improve for our fourth Rampage Weekender event in May 2022. We will host the Adult Rampage Run on Saturday 7th May 2022. Many of previous years gut busting obstacles will see a return this year, including the infamous Giant Water Slide, the challenging Sleive Gallion, the refreshing Placid Ponds, the Insane-A-Frame and many other favourites. We will also add a few new surprises to this year’s obstacle line-up, with more than 50 obstacles planned for 2022!!
Our final word… is that if you can get through the past couple of years, Rampage 2022 will be no problem. We’ve all grown stronger from the adversity that unfolded over 2020 and 2021. You may not feel it, but rest assured, no strength is gained without hardship and we all had that in spades during this time. NOW is the time for getting back out there and improving our health in the best way possible, by getting out into nature and testing yourself against the elements.
We would encourage you to start small. Get some practice in before trying the obstacle run. Get outside, get moving, expose your muscles to a range of different movements. Our Rampage Run in 2022 will challenge you as always, however, we urge you to take your time around the course and only push yourself within a safe limit.
For the adult runners, sessions will start every 10 minutes after 10:00am.
Of course it wouldn’t be fair to leave the little ones out so on Sunday 8th May we will be holding two further races, 2k for 6-10yrs and 5k for 11-17yrs.
For runners, thrill seekers and anyone looking for a challenge… Rampage IS the ultimate experience.
Whatever age, fitness or ability level you have, 𝗬𝗢𝗨 will be welcome.
We encourage teams to help each and every member along and inspire one another to complete the course.
We are optimistic that by May 2022, there shouldn’t be any problems in running our event as in previous years, however, we will of course stay tuned to the latest updates surrounding the current health crisis. We will fully adhere to all the latest restrictions and health and safety measures advised by the Health & Safety Executive NI. More details will follow closer to the event.
Sunday will be a relaxed affair for all our campers, you have got until 2pm to pack up and head home but you will need to get up for breakfast which is served between 9am and 10:30am and included in your price.
Note: Parents are welcome to come along with their kids and run alongside them to offer support and have a friendly face run with with them. ONE free adult to every child booked.

We are pleased to announce that our chosen charity partners for RAMPAGE 2022 are AWARE, the leading depression charity for Northern Ireland and The Hub Charity (Cookstown).
AWARE has established a network of 23 support groups in rural and urban areas across Northern Ireland, ran by trained and dedicated volunteers. They provide support and welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder, as well as providing support for carers of people with illness.
With the rising rates of mental health issues and suicides in Northern Ireland, along with the extremely challenging and difficult few year’s that have just passed, we feel it’s crucial to support causes like AWARE.
The Hub is a fantastic community resource providing support and access to a range of groups such as the National Autistic Society, Alzheimer’s Carers Support Group, Aware Defeat Depression and a range of other fringe groups who are in need of support. They provide access to all areas of drama, arts and crafts. The Hub is a wonderful organisation, ran by truly wonderful and caring people. The money raised was a great boost for them to help support people in the local areas and we are privileged to have been able to assist them in their work.
For every participant that takes on our Rampage Run in May 2022, we will donate a portion of their entry fee directly to AWARE and The Hub. We hope to raise a sizeable donation for these incredible charities and provide extra funding to bolster the support they provide across the country.
