Here at The Jungle we can offer a range of activities and residential options for school groups. We’ve been providing primary and secondary school trips for years and are well experienced in getting the best out of these occasions. Whether it’s an end of year school trip away, a rewarding day of activities or a start of term session for everyone to get to know each other, we’ve got lots of exciting options to choose from.
For younger Primary School aged kids we have our Large Youth Package Option 2. This is a multiple activity fun day style package, lasting 3 hours and jam packed full of adventure activities for young kids such as Archery, Climbing Wall, Llama Trekking, Rodeo Ride, Bungee Trampoline, Body Zorbs, Fun Zorbs and much more. This can also be tailored with more suitable activities for older Secondary School kids.
We also have various Kids Adventure Games packages available for smaller groups of 6-20 kids. These include a mix of adventure games such as Archery, Paintball Target Shooting, Bungee Trampoline and many more.
One of our most popular kids activities is our Mowgli Tree Top Adventure Course, designed for kids aged 4+. This is an obstacle course constructed in the Tree Top canopies in our breath taking forest. Kids will navigate their way round obstacles such as nets, ropes, wooden plank bridges and barrels all while being elevated in the tree tops, secured in top of the range safety harness we should add!
For the older kids, around secondary school age we have various Team Building and Multiple Activity packages available for a fun days activities. They can do most activities at The Jungle, for example a swing around our Adult Tree Top Adventure Course, a bounce around in our Body Zorbs, an exhilarating roll down a 300M hill in our Downhill Zorbing, a whizz around on our Off Road Segways and many more.
In May 2018 we will be releasing our newest activity, Laser Tag. This popular battle game will take place in our infamous Paintball Zones, only using state of the art Laser Guns. It is suitable for anyone over 8 years old and could make for an interesting end of year school trip.
A few notable mentions and alternatives would be our Rocket Building activity, our Mountain Biking excursion, our Raft Building Challenge or the ever popular Gruffalo Trail for younger kids.
An interesting alternative is The Jungle’s Forest School, which is a unique natural classroom experience. We find kids learn best when challenged and interested, their self-esteem grows and they interact better with others. At the Jungle Forest School, our highly trained and skilled Forest School Leaders will work with children to allow them to explore the outdoors with appropriate support, giving children the time and space to develop a deep connection with nature.
During the session participants will be getting hands-on experiences in a safe environment e.g. using tools, building dens, lighting fires, craft activities (making natural paints), tree climbing and much more.
We have different options available if you’d like to stay overnight and do a Residential package at The Jungle.
We have 4 Glamping pods, based on site, sleeping 8 people per pod.
