Family Fun Days at The Jungle are all about choice, variety and letting kids burn off energy in the great outdoors, at their own pace.

Join us for an action-packed afternoon with 18 adventure activities, animals, rides, and a large free on-site play park, perfect for kids of all ages.

We use a simple token system, so you can choose the activities that suit your family best.

Entry Price

£6 per person

Your entry includes:

• Full access to The Jungle
• ONE adventure activity of your choice
• Unlimited use of our free on-site play park (climbing frames, slides & swings)
• Access to animals, atmosphere and all activity areas

Think of it as your starter adventure! Then you decide how much more you want to do.

Adventure Tokens

After your included activity, you can choose to do more adventures using tokens.

Additional tokens can be purchased on the day:

• £4 per token

• 6 tokens for £15 (best value)

💡 Helpful guide (not a rule):

• Younger children / shorter visit → 2–3 tokens
• Most families → 4–6 tokens per child
• Adventure lovers → 6+ tokens

👉 Tokens can be shared across your family, and you don’t need to buy them all at once. You can top up anytime.

About the Activities & Queues

Most activities last 2–5 minutes and that’s on purpose.

Short sessions mean:

• Shorter queues
• More activities to choose from
• Less waiting, more doing

If a particular activity has a queue, our team will always help guide you to quieter options and the play park is perfect for filling in time between adventures.

Families with mixed ages are very welcome, there’s always something to do.

Free Play Park (Included)

Our outdoor play park is completely free to use and open all day.

It’s ideal:

• Between activities
• For younger children
• When queues are busy
• Or when kids just want to play freely

Additional Activities:

Our Kids Tree Top Adventure Course can be purchased on the day for £15 per person. (Suitable for Kids & Adults) – approx. 45-60 mins. – Please note participants MUST be over 1M tall.

The Adult Tree Top Adventure Course can also be purchased on the day – £32 per person for Taster Course (approx. 60-90 mins) or £42 per person for Full Course (approx. 2-3 hours). – Please note participants MUST be over 1.42M tall.

Arrival Times & Flow

To keep things running smoothly, arrival times are staggered.

You can book one of the following arrival slots:
12:00 / 12:15 / 12:30 / 12:45 / 1:00

This helps with:

• Parking flow
• Shorter queues on arrival
• A calmer start to your day

Once you’re in, you’re welcome to stay until 4:30pm.

Vintage Vehicle Rally – Saturday 7^th June

On Saturday 6th June, the Mid Ulster Vintage Vehicle Club will host their annual Mid Ulster Vintage Rally right here at The Jungle. This is their showcase event of the year with attractions including:

• Vintage and classic cars and motorcycles
• Vintage and classic tractors
• Stationary engines
• Classic commercial vehicles
• Threshing
• Tractor pulling
• Lawnmower racing
• Tractor games
• Live music
• Dog show
• Children’s activities – provided by The Jungle, these will be our Family Fun Day activities.

Farming Fun Day – Sunday 28^th June

Explore our farm machinery exhibition, embrace animal encounters, enjoy natural crafts and even take part in some line dancing at our Boot Scootin’ Boogie.

After working up an appetite with all that adventuring, refuel with our mouth-watering BBQ delights at The Lazy Llama, our funky onsite restaurant. Indulge in low and slow cooked meats in tasty Hot Sandwiches or Loaded Fries, Burgers, Sides, Specials and more while soaking up the sun and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your food.

The Little Llama Café also offers a range of speciality coffees, hot & cold drinks, baked goods and sweet treats.

The Jungle is located in the heart of Northern Ireland and, being just 45 minutes from Belfast or Derry/Londonderry on the main A29 road, it is easily accessible. Situated at the foot of the rolling Sperrin Mountains and wedged between local market towns of Cookstown and Magherafelt, The Jungle offers the best of Northern Irish countryside and the perfect ingredients for the fun-filled, family escapes happy memories are made of.

As you explore the many activity ideas on your family day out in Northern Ireland, you will notice the range of curious creatures which call The Jungle home. The Jungle was once a working farm and while we have diversified we still love our animals and boast of a large collection of furry friends from llamas, sheep, deer, miniature horses and pheasants.
We do allow other dogs onsite provided they are kept on a lead and owners look after any mess they might make.
