JUNGLE FAMILY FUN DAYS REINVENTED

Get ready to dive into a world of adventure with our action-packed Family Fun Days! On selected Sundays throughout the spring and summer, we’re bringing you our adventure packed Family Fun Days, reinvented with different themes that’ll take your experience to new heights. From exploring the wonders of the llama kingdom to swashbuckling pirate adventures, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy!

HOW IT WORKS

Similar to a fun-fair, The Jungle Family Fun Days are open-park days, which offer an exciting range of outdoor adventure activities at budget prices. Activities are chosen on the day by exchanging pre-paid activity tokens for activities. Simply buy as many tokens you wish, exchange your tokens for the activity, or activities, of your preference and enjoy a fun family experience day unlike any other!

Please book online in advance. When booking simply choose from the morning session 10am to 1pm session or the afternoon 2pm to 5pm session.

It costs £5 per person for entry to the park (paid online). This also includes 1 Activity Token per person. You can then purchase more tokens on the day (£3 per token or 6 tokens for £15). Activity tokens can then be exchanged for any of the following activities:

Additional Activities:

Our Kids Tree Top Adventure Course can be purchased on the day for £15 per person. (Suitable for Kids & Adults) – approx. 45-60 mins. – Please note participants MUST be over 1M tall.

The Adult Tree Top Adventure Course can also be purchased on the day – £25 per person for Taster Course (approx. 60-90 mins) or £40 per person for Full Course (approx. 2-3 hours). – Please note participants MUST be over 1.42M tall.

After working up an appetite with all that adventuring, refuel with our mouth-watering BBQ delights at The Lazy Llama, our funky onsite restaurant. Indulge in sizzling shorthorn beef burgers, slow cooked juicy ribs, BBQ Chicken and more while soaking up the sun and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your food.

The Little Llama Café also offers a range of speciality coffees, hot & cold drinks, baked goods and sweet treats.

1. Llama Learning Zone: Step into our indoor sanctuary of llama knowledge, where little ones can dive into the world of llamas, with educational videos, trivia, puzzles, and jokes.
2. Llama Grooming & Feeding: Ever wanted to cosy up to a llama? Now’s your chance! Our friendly staff will guide you through the art of llama grooming and feeding, offering hands-on experiences that’ll leave you feeling closer to these gentle giants.
3. Llama Crafts: Let your creative juices flow at our llama-themed crafting station! From making your own miniature llama to decorating llama masks, the possibilities are endless. Who knows? You might just unleash your inner Picasso!
4. Llama Photo Opportunities: Strike a pose with our real-life llamas and capture memories that’ll last a lifetime. Plus, don’t miss our cartoon llama cut-out scene, where you can channel your inner drama llama for the perfect selfie moment!
5. Llama Visitor Art Collaboration: Join forces with fellow adventurers to create a masterpiece fit for llama royalty. With a giant llama outline as your canvas, let your imagination run wild as you add your own colourful flair to this communal work of art.

Explore our farm machinery exhibition, embark on a farm tales journey, embrace animal encounters, step into the Farmer’s Market Hall to browse some local producers offerings, enjoy natural crafts and even take part in some line dancing at our Boot Scootin’ Boogie.

Inspired by World Book Day, this event offers the chance to swap old preloved books and costumes, making future World Book Days that little bit easier. Enjoy popular children’s story book reading sessions and our creative kids corner. Our Mowgli Kids Tree Top Adventure Course is also half price during this event, so you can swing in the trees like The Jungle Book’s Mowgli for ONLY £7.50pp.

We know your pet is part of the family, so this event offers the opportunity to bring along your furry little friends for the adventure. We encourage everyone to bring their pets along to meet other animals and enjoy a day out with the family. You can take a browse through our Barket (aka Dog Market), picking up some pet friendly treats, equipment and supplies.

Unleash your inner Superhero in our Superhero Training Zone, or your inner Princess at our Princess Dance Party. Grab a photo with our Superheroes and Princesses who will be walking around, ready for action! We encourage Fancy Dress, with spot prizes throughout the day.

Ahoy matey! Step aboard our Pirate Crew Training sessions, filled with swashbuckling shenanigans and fun games, led by our Captain and 1^st Maid. With fancy dress prizes and raffle prizes on offer, we encourage dressing in your best pirate attire! Pirate crafts and a kids Tattoo Station will help complete the look and ignite the imagination!

The Jungle is located in the heart of Northern Ireland and, being just 45 minutes from Belfast or Derry/Londonderry on the main A29 road, it is easily accessible. Situated at the foot of the rolling Sperrin Mountains and wedged between local market towns of Cookstown and Magherafelt, The Jungle offers the best of Northern Irish countryside and the perfect ingredients for the fun-filled, family escapes happy memories are made of.

As you explore the many activity ideas on your family day out in Northern Ireland, you will notice the range of curious creatures which call The Jungle home. The Jungle was once a working farm and while we have diversified we still love our animals and boast of a large collection of furry friends from llamas, sheep, deer, miniature horses and pheasants.
We do allow other dogs onsite provided they are kept on a lead and owners look after any mess they might make.
