Get active and lift your mood by taking part in a Mood Walk at The Jungle on Sunday 12th September between 4-7pm for World Suicide Prevention Day, and every following Sunday in September between 2-6pm.
£10 entry fee with all proceeds going to AWARE and will go to support those in Northern Ireland who are struggling with their mental health. (no sponsorship required)

“AWARE is the depression charity for Northern Ireland and the only charity working exclusively for those with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. AWARE’s vision is a future where everyone can talk about their mental health openly, access services appropriate to their needs and develop the skills and knowledge to maintain positive mental health. The focus of AWARE’s work is to educate and provide support to people living with or affected by depression.
AWARE has an established network of 25 Support Groups across the province, they are free to attend and welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder as well as carers for people with the illness. AWARE also deliver information outreach sessions and attend community events within the community to give more information about AWARE, whilst raising awareness of depression. AWARE also deliver mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities, and workplaces.
Covid-19 has place a strain on the mental health of many in Northern Ireland. AWARE will strive to continue to be a source of support for those who need it and have now adapted their services to meet social distancing regulations. AWARE now have an online support group, online email service, support helpline and a dedicated Covid-19 section on their website providing information and resources to help you manage your well-being at this time.
