The Jungle’s Forest Segway experience is a must for all those in search of adventure and excitement.

When we describe them as off-road Segways, that’s how we intend them to be used.

Explore the Jungle’s enchanting forest via purpose-built Segway paths!

You will be given your own personal off-road Segway and safety equipment including a helmet, knee, wrist and elbow guards. After a comprehensive safety brief and practice run, you will then have the opportunity to explore the depths of The Jungle along with our qualified Segway Instructors.

Our Segway Experience. The Forest Segway involves exploring the vast depths of The Jungle on an enchanting Segway journey through our different terrains such as our sprawling fields, our wondrous woodlands and specially made Segway paths.

Forest Segway Experience

Off road using our Jungle Pathways exploring the Jungle.

Min height: 1.42m,

Min weight: 7st / 45kg

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Segways are not suitable for children under 12 years old. Recommended for groups up to 12 people maximum.

All activities must be booked in advance before arrival. Please book as far in advance as possible, at the latest before 4pm for the following day.

Are there any restrictions?
Yes, particpants will not be allowed to ride a Segway if:- They are under 4.8"/142cm tall. Their weight exceeds 117kg (18 ½ stone). Their weight is under 45kg (7.1 stone). All pre-existing medical conditions must be declared before riding a Segway. Falls from a Segway are possible and if you have anything in your medical history that might be affected by a fall we recommend you do not take part.
Do you have to be able to drive to participate in the Forest Segways?
No, you do not have to be able to drive, our fully qualified Activity Instructors will show you how to use the Segways and navigate the various paths on offer. You will be given a comprehensive safety brief and given time to practice before you will be taken to the actual forest trails.
How long does the Forest Segway experience last?
Your experience with us lasts an hour, that includes a comprehensive safety brief and instruction, practice time and the chance to explore our extensive forest trails.
Is the Forest Segway experience difficult?
Forest Segwaying is not difficult; it is suitable for anyone over 7stone (44.5kg) AND over 4.8"/142 cm tall. While it is not difficult it does require a level of concentration and skills of co-ordination and balance. It is up to each participant to decide if they are up for the physical and mental challenge that may be involved.
Is the Forest Segway experience safe?
Riding a Segway is not the same as a theme park ride to stay safe there is a large amount of individual responsibility. The activity of riding a Segway should be viewed in the same way as skiing, mountain biking or horse riding. Consequently all participants wishing to take part in the activity must be aware that Segways are potentially dangerous and assess the risks involved. All instructors are professional, friendly and proficient in dealing with participants whilst at the same time providing a safe experience. Customers will receive the training and experience required to be able to ride a Segway.
Is there a spectator area for the Forest Segways?
No, there is currently no spectator area for Forest Segways.
What is the maximum number of participants?
We currently only have 12 Segways onsite therefore 12 is the maximum number we can accommodate in an hour session.
What is the minimum number of participants required?
There is no minimum number of participants.
When is this activity available?
The Forest Segway experience is available seven days a week, all year round. Late evening sessions can be arranged in summer months, in Winter however, sessions may be forced to conclude by 3pm due to lack of daylight.
